The Tschugge is quietly located just off the main road in Zermatt, an Alpine resort town in the south of Switzerland. Just a few hours from the international airports in Zurich, Geneva and Milan, the Tschugge provides scheduled seasonal shuttle service to and from the train station. The hotel is an approximate 4-minute walk from the train station, where guests can take the Gornergrat cog railway or the ski bus.

All of the Tschugge’s guestrooms feature cable or satellite television with premium channels, telephones, minibars, private bathrooms with jetted bathtubs and hairdryers, alarm clocks and in-room safes. Wake-up calls are available upon request. Only non-smoking rooms are available at this hotel.

Built in 1989 and remodeled in 2001, the 4-star Tschugge features a restaurant that serves Swiss and international dishes that is built directly into the rocks. There is also a bar that is built within a rock cavern, a fireplace, a multilingual staff and an Internet access terminal. The hotel also features a spa that offers a sauna, 2 whirlpools, a steam bath and an adventure shower in addition to other wellness treatments.
